I was supervising a web application development project and I needed to be getting daily progress report on the project. So I asked Imran, the developer of the progress, he said "I worked all day on the backend and algorithm, but you cannot see it since it’s not on the front end, when I’m done, I will launch it so that you could see "

It now struck me that 'Growth' process is exactly like a typical web application. I.e. it has both the front end and the backend.

While the front end is the observable and the interactable features of the app, the back end which is the most important is the functionalities and the algorithm of the app that control the operation of the application, including that of the front end.

It is important to note that for a good web application, both the front and the back ends must be well developed.

Metaphorically speaking, the front end of your growth represents the observables results like your certificate, result, Wikipedia profile, CV, etc. Having a good front end attracts people to your success, it opens some doors for you and it gives you access to some reputable positions.

The back end of your growth represents your innate capacity, ability and corresponding productivity. While it is undoubtedly important to have good grades and certificate, it is also crucial to know that wherever good grades and well authored CV get you, capacity and productivity keep you there.

Don't be in a rush to display a front end that you have not built a complementing back end for.
The growth process is painful and demanding but the resulting benefit of growth outweighs its pains.

Develop your capacity and productivity to the optimum, and do not leave behind your front end in the process.

A caricature growth will embarrass you at the Zenith of your career. Be like Imran, work on your back end and the complementing front end before launching yourself to the world.

I wish you a full stack growth!!
